Just Follow Me is a recent work in the Fly Me Away collection. The background is like a sunset with gentle purple hues, while darker blues flow in from the sides. Gentle brushstrokes flit across the canvas in red, blues, purple, peach and teal, while longer strokes glide across the top in white, teal and purple. This painting will be a calming, colourful focal point in any room where it is hung.
Size: 40 x 60 in. · Acrylic on canvas
All the canvases are gallery wrapped and 1.5 inches in depth, which means there is no immediate need for framing. In many cases the painting is ready to hang in a simple way. However, a very simple narrow floating frame complements the artwork. All pieces are hardware-ready for hanging. All the artwork is applied with two coats of varnish to protect it from damage caused by dust and water.
Please note: colours can look slightly different in person than in photos, and the painting is often a little brighter in real life. You're welcome to ask for a FaceTime viewing or a visit to the studio through the Contact page.
Maryam's work has been shown and collected through galleries across Canada and the US, including Arta Gallery, Blue Crow Gallery, Denison Gallery and Partial Gallery in Toronto, the Elora Centre for the Arts, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, ADC Fine Art in Cincinnati, Artpic in North Hollywood, and Saatchi Art online.
