From the Fly Me Away collection, a story of love, family and distance. The brushstrokes become birds, a nod to Maryam's own migration to Canada and the longing to be together again.
All the canvases are gallery wrapped and 1.5 inches in depth, which means there is no immediate need for framing. In many cases the painting is ready to hang in a simple way. However, a very simple narrow floating frame complements the artwork. All pieces are hardware-ready for hanging. All the artwork is applied with two coats of varnish to protect it from damage caused by dust and water.
